Race start at Conwy Castle

Today is the beginning of an exciting week in Cymru/Wales for the Dragon's Back Race, as artist in residence.

I've basically emptied my studio into the campervan and I'm looking forward to a productive week of painting en plein air in the Welsh mountains.

The weather may have other ideas though. Rain forecast, but I've got my mountain kit for all weathers and I'll be there come rain or shine.

Keep watching for updates on these mountain landscapes - they will reflect the conditions and the emotions of this beautiful race.
