Day 2 Dragon's Back - The Rhinogs
A brighter start but eventually beaten by the rain and midges. Dragon's Back Race - Day 1 Snowdonia/Eryri
Raging streams and moody skies! The heavens opened. Streams and rivers were in full spate, the trods and trails were in full spate too. But it is beautiful whatever the weather. I joined the event team late on Saturday and on Sunday I ran up from Conwy Castle into the surrounding hills on the start of the DBR route. No Smoke Without Fire
So, I have returned to the scene. The memories flood back. I stand at Conwy castle and look out to the challenge that lies before everyone tomorrow. The swirling mists rise like smoke. The Dragon's stirring! It is a truly wonderful place to be but I can't help feeling some apprehension, a nervous excitement...and I'm not even doing the race!
